What Is Smithers Younger Guitar Camp?
An awesome program specializing in guitar instruction, welcoming youth, ages 10-18.
SYGC will be Tuesday August 14 to Saturday August 18, 2012 at Camp Caledonia on Tyhee Lake, 2818 Telkwa High Road, Telkwa BC.
Program Goals
The program is designed to help participants explore guitar and creativity skills in a structured and fun environment
Participant objectives
- Increase technical proficiency on the guitar
- Achieve greater musical confidence
- Learn to interact musically with others
- Participate in the creation of a CD

- Recording session
- Hand drumming
- Campfire jams
- Field sports and games

Driftwood Camp located on Snake Road in the Driftwood area 10 minutes from town.

Our staff and volunteers possess a genuine interest in creating a safe and encouraging environment while participants pursue musical talents
